Sant Mateu d’Albarca Church

This church, which dominates the small rural town of Sant Mateu, goes back to the 18^th  century and was erected to attend to the needs of the parishioners in that area of the island.

This church has a single nave with a semi-circular vault with eight chapels and whose main façade is topped with a simple bell wall. To access the building you have to pass through the traditional porch which has three access arcades.

The parish festival is held on the September 21^st, the feast of Saint Matthew.
