Route of Es Amunts. PR-EI-101

Itinerary of 20.2km. If performed as a circular route, it can be started from both the village of Sant Joan de Labritja ( old road to Portinatx) or from the beach of Cala de Sant Vicent.

The route runs along old tracks and trails, next to seasonal streams. We also pass by some of the areas many springs and wells, such as the "Pou des Baladre" where every summer ancestral dances are celebrated. You can appreciate the typical rural landscape with houses, trees, dry stone walls, crops, and the typical vegetation of the Ibizan seasonal streams, such as the oleander.

Arriving at the village of Sant Vicent with its 19th century church, you can perceive Ibiza's agrarian social organization, which is made up of scattered houses, and where the meeting place was the church and perhaps a lonely house nearby, dedicated normally to trade activities.
