Curch of the Holy family - Can Bonet

A church for the new Sant Antoni

Located in the municipality of Sant Antoni, this church was built in 1986 in honour of the Holy Family, patron saint of migrants, to provide religious services to the residential areas of Can Bonet and Ses Païsses, which emerged from the 1960s onwards.

Its design is a fine example of the religious architecture developed in Ibiza during the 20th century, characterised by the incorporation of rationalist forms in keeping with the simple, functional style of traditional Ibizan churches. The church was designed by the Ibizan architect Josep Antoni Zornoza Tur.
