Onda Cero

Carrer de Felip II, 10,

Description

Onda Cero is a generalist radio station that operates throughout Spain, offering information and entertainment 24 hours a day. Its support for the tourism industry and its commitment to providing news about this sector are key features of the station, both in its daily local programming for Ibiza and regional programming for the Balearic Islands, as well as in its national programming and digital platforms.

Among its most notable programs, Onda Cero features 'Gente Viajera,' the pioneering and leading Spanish radio show in tourism and travel. This nationally broadcast program, directed and presented by Carles Lamelo, has been on air for over 35 years and is entirely dedicated to tourism information and promotion. Ibiza plays a prominent role in the broadcast of this important program.

Onda Cero belongs to the largest Spanish audiovisual group, Atresmedia. The station's radio offering is complemented by two national music stations: Europa FM and Melodía FM. The total daily audience for the three stations is 3 million listeners, according to the latest General Media Study.

The Atresmedia group also has a significant digital presence, with various websites, apps, and a strong social media presence that complement its traditional offline radio activities.

In Ibiza, the station operates from its studios in Es Pratet, in the city of Eivissa, where a team of professionals, led by director Juan Carlos Enrique, works closely with local institutions and businesses to promote the island of Ibiza in the Balearic Islands and throughout Spain through advertising campaigns, branding, branded content, and storytelling, always prioritizing sustainability and quality as non-negotiable objectives.
