The ‘Escuela de Turismo de Baleares (ETB)’ was founded in 1964 in response to the need to train the professionals and managers of the tourist companies that appeared with the tourism boom at the end of the 1950s and 1960s. Since the beginning, our mission has been to provide the tourism industry with qualified professionals and entrepreneurs, with a solid training, both at university and technical level, following the principles of excellence, quality and efficiency.

The ETB is a founding member of the National Association of Tourism Schools (ANESTUR) and the World Association for Hospitality and Tourism Education and Training (AMFORHT). It is also member of the HOSCO platform (Switzerland) which connects the main Hotel and Tourism Schools with the most important tourism companies in the world.

We currently carry out our activities in four locations: Palma and Manacor (Mallorca),  Ciutadella (Menorca) and recently in Ibiza.

Our academic offer consists of official university training (the Degree in Tourism and the Degree in Protocol and Event Organization), specialized technical training and professional courses. In addition, we also provide companies with subsidised training, aimed at both Managers and other teams, which responds to the needs to improve the results of their business management.
