Apart from coinciding with Mother's Day, next Sunday, May 5 this coastal town will be filled with life, culture, music and joy.
Considered as their second patron saint festivities, in the “Diumenge de maig” you can enjoy the long-awaited parades of traditional cars (with clothing included), Ibizan hounds, old cars and motorcycles…
The musical proposal for this day is not far behind: rock, pop, jazz groups, DJs and obviously ball pagés will liven up the entire week.
And so that you can enjoy every corner of Santa Eulària des Riu, different food stalls, flowers, gifts and exhibitions will fill each of its streets.

A trip to the past during Eivissa Medieval 2024
Visiting Dalt Vila is an almost obligatory activity due to the number of stories and legends that its walls contain.
And the best time to do it is without a doubt from May 9 to 12 during the Eivissa Medieval: an entire weekend dedicated to highlighting the different cultures that coexisted in what was the nerve centre of commerce and Ibizan life for centuries.
In this edition, it will also expand beyond the walled city to Vara de Rey, es Martell and the port to accommodate the large influx of public it receives year after year.
With new activities focused on the World Heritage, gastronomy that evokes other eras, craftsmanship and an unparalleled medieval atmosphere, we are sure that Eivissa Medieval 2024 will become one of the best celebrations to date.
Are you going to miss it?
Other plans in Ibiza that will not leave you indifferent
Santa Eulària and Ibiza are not the only municipalities that come alive during the month of May.
Little by little the island is emerging from its winter lethargy, so many stores and markets are reopening their doors, and with the arrival of good weather little by little we want to go out and enjoy the Ibizan sun.
In Sant Joan we recommend visiting the Sunday market, or taking one of the hiking routes that will allow you to discover our more rural environment.
The sunsets of Sant Antoni will take your breath away, whether from Ses Variades, Cap Negret, Punta Galera, Cap Blanc or Rompeolas; If you're a little braver, scroll down to The Gates of Heaven.
Finally, in Sant Josep you can visit the Ses Salines or Cala d'Hort Natural Park, with the mystical Es Vedrá in the background.
The options are endless!
