Finally! The Standard has officially arrived in Ibiza. It feels like it’s been years in the making—two kindred spirits destined to be together, finally reunited, with a shared vision and a sense of adventure that makes this union truly exciting.
Located in the heart of the old town, just steps from the waterfront along the pedestrian Vara de Rey promenade, The Standard, Ibiza offers a fresh take on modern-day Ibiza while embracing the island’s rich heritage. Housed in a crisp white building with a collection of 53 rooms and suites, as well as Casa Privada—a separate private residence with 14 rooms—the hotel features bright, eclectic décor and stunning surroundings.
The ground-floor entrance and street-level restaurant quite literally open the doors of the hotel to passersby exploring this historic part of town, offering a menu based on locally sourced ingredients and a refreshing selection of cocktails. The rooftop pool and restaurant provide spectacular views of Ibiza’s iconic castle, along with light bites, drinks, and loungers to relax, read, and soak up the sun.
While it doesn’t aim to compete with Ibiza’s megaclubs, The Standard, Ibiza certainly doesn’t call it an early night either. As the evening progresses and its forward-thinking cuisine gives way to more (and more) cocktails, a sense of seduction and playful mischief fills the hotel. Guests eat and drink at the ground-floor restaurant or on the rooftop under the stars well into the early hours, getting into all sorts of trouble. The hotel will remain open year-round, catering to both locals and visitors alike.
The island of Ibiza is a microcosm of everything that delights and indulges, and The Standard—top to bottom—perfectly reflects that spirit. And even more.
