S’Argamassa Boutique Hotel is renowned for the spaciousness of its 25 suites, each of which has a private terrace

22 September 2026. The change in temperatures has sustained interest in seaside getaways throughout the autumn months. On islands such as Ibiza, the weather allows visitors to continue enjoying walks, outdoor activities and even a dip in the Mediterranean. That’s why long weekends at this time of year are an excellent opportunity to discover the island at a more leisurely pace and spend a few days with the family.

Spacious suites for the whole family:

Located in Santa Eulària des Riu, just a few metres from Cala Pada beach, S’Argamassa Boutique Hotel is a family-friendly option in Ibiza for those looking to combine a few days by the sea with walks amongst pine trees and a range of outdoor activities, in a setting particularly well-suited to a family break.

Its 25 suites offer space and privacy for family stays, and all feature a private terrace. Some also have a kitchenette, an option that provides greater comfort and independence during your stay.

The hotel’s facilities are rounded off with a swimming pool for adults and another for children, mini-golf and various outdoor areas. Adults can choose between a yoga session on request, massages and treatments at Ibiza Massage, or the gym.

Family-friendly autumn activities:

The excellent location of S’Argamassa Boutique Hotel means you can combine your stay at the hotel with a range of outdoor activities. The kayaks at Cala Pada are just a short distance away, and right opposite the hotel there is a zip-line and climbing wall area for children.

At nearby Cala Martina, you can also go kayaking and stand-up paddleboarding. For a different sort of outing, the Can Marçà Caves, in the San Miguel area, are about a 20-minute drive away and offer another way to explore the island’s landscape.

Beyond the activities, the appeal of this getaway also lies in getting back into a different rhythm: having breakfast without watching the clock, strolling to Cala Pada, spending some time by the pool, heading down to the sea at the end of the day, or exploring some of the markets and hidden corners of Santa Eulària des Riu. These are simple plans that allow you to enjoy Ibiza as a family even after the high season has ended.

For those who want to plan their stay in more detail, S’Argamassa also offers some tips for enjoying Ibiza as a family, from choosing accommodation to different activities to do with children on the island.

Barbecues by the pool:

The cuisine is another of the attractions at S’Argamassa Boutique Hotel. Its restaurant, open to both guests and the general public, offers Mediterranean-inspired cuisine in which grilled meat and fish take centre stage.

The menu features a variety of cuts of meat, seafood and Mediterranean dishes, including Raf tomato and ventresca salad, Iberian ham with toasted bread, grilled or garlic-fried prawns, octopus with parmentier and sweet potato textures, and sautéed squid with sobrasada and Ibizan honey. Among the grilled specialities are the 600-gramm matured beef ribeye, the 300-gramm Galician veal fillet, the 300-gramm selected sirloin with garlic butter, Iberian ‘secreto’, lamb chops and free-range chicken marinated Creole-style.

The menu is rounded off with side dishes such as vegetables, roast potatoes and sweet potatoes, and a variety of sauces, including Ibizan cheese sauce, chimichurri and pepper sauce. To finish, the menu also features homemade desserts.
