Teatro Pereyra announces La Cucaracha as its headline summer residency

Madrid's most talked-about Latin party comes to Ibiza's historic theatre every Saturday in July, August and September — live music, DJs, dance and a community that has spent the past eighteen months filling floors in Madrid and Puerto Rico.

Teatro Pereyra announces a new chapter in its programming with La Cucaracha as its headline summer residency. Born in Madrid and established as one of the most beloved nights in the new Latin scene, it arrives in Ibiza every Saturday in July, August and September as one of the most distinctive propositions of the summer on the island.

What it has built in just eighteen months is anything but accidental. A community that understands tropical music as something alive, contemporary and without hierarchy: salsa brava, merengue, bachata, plena, boogaloo, classic reggaeton, afro house and urban sounds sharing the floor naturally. The party works when the barrier between stage and room disappears, when an orchestra, a DJ set or a spontaneous moment of collective dancing pulls everyone inside into the same thing.

La Cucaracha joins the programme at Teatro Pereyra, which this season launched WHO, the concept bringing together fine dining, performing arts and music under one roof. On Saturdays, when the show ends, the party takes over: live music, DJs, dance and a community that has turned every edition into a collective celebration.

The residency is part of a calendar Teatro Pereyra continues to expand this year with new cycles and musical formats, reinforcing its place as one of the island's leading cultural destinations.

La Cucaracha opens on Saturday 4 July. Tickets are available at the Teatro Pereyra official website.
