The Ibiza and Formentera Against Cancer Association (IFCC) will hold its fifth Golf Against Cancer Tournament on Saturday, May 9, starting at 9:00 a.m., for the benefit of cancer patients in Ibiza and Formentera at the facilities of Golf Ibiza. This event brought together 72 participants last year and raised €12,000, which was entirely allocated to the fight against cancer in the Pitiusas Islands—an amount the organization hopes to exceed on this occasion. This event, sponsored by the Consell d’Eivissa, through the Ibiza Travel brand, the Sant Josep de sa Talaia Town Hall, the Santa Eulària des Riu Town Hall, Mondrian Ibiza, and Ibiza Casino Events, will also feature an awards ceremony and a charity raffle with prizes donated by various companies on the island. Registrations can be made directly at the Golf Ibiza reception desk and cost €60 for members, €80 for other participants, and €30 for minors.
The fifth Golf Against Cancer Tournament will begin at 9:00 a.m. and will conclude around 3:00 p.m. with the presentation of trophies to the winners of categories A and B, first and second place in Juniors, and Scratch, with a single prize, all donated by supportive companies from Ibiza. In addition, two special prizes will be awarded: longest drive, in both the men’s and women’s categories, and the ball closest to the pin.
Afterwards, a charity raffle will take place in which both players and other attendees may participate by purchasing a ticket for €5. The winning numbers will be published on the IFCC website and Facebook page. The prizes will include various experiences and gifts provided by collaborating companies on the island that support this charitable initiative in aid of the Ibiza and Formentera Against Cancer Association (IFCC).

Leisure activities, gastronomy and live music
Hyde and Mondrian Ibiza are once again strengthening their commitment to the Ibiza community by joining this tournament in support of the Ibiza and Formentera Against Cancer Association (IFCC). As part of this collaboration, both hotels will provide the official tournament lunch during the awards ceremony, thereby contributing directly to an initiative that has become a key event in the island’s charity calendar.
Coinciding with the launch of Hyde Ibiza Fest, the new four-day cultural event taking place from May 7 to 11, 2026, this collaboration highlights both hotels’ commitment to generating a positive impact in their surroundings. “For the first time, Hyde Ibiza presents a programme of activities celebrating music, culture, art, wellness and sport, making the most of the resort’s extensive grounds and its various seafront and nature-based spaces in Cala Llonga,” the hotel explains. Participation in this charity tournament complements this spirit and consolidates Hyde and Mondrian Ibiza as cultural and social drivers within the local community.
The president of the Ibiza and Formentera Against Cancer Association (IFCC), Elizabeth Gail Fear, expressed her excitement about holding this tournament for the fifth consecutive year: “It is one of the most anticipated events for our association, as sport is one of the key pillars in the prevention work we carry out at IFCC.” Fear also stated that “we are very grateful for the support we receive from all the companies and institutions in the Pitiusas that collaborate with us year after year and, especially, for being able to count on Mondrian Ibiza by our side, who always lend us a hand when we need it.”
In addition, this fifth edition of the tournament will include a live performance by the band Reflection, who will enliven the sporting day with the best rock music of recent times, while Island Casino Events will incorporate a leisure proposal inspired by a casino atmosphere to offer an added attraction for attendees. Likewise, the Choco Party food truck will once again be present at the event, offering players a short break during the tournament.
