Santa Eulària celebrates once again its much-anticipated Festes de Maig, with a varied programme running until 20 June. Live music, tradition, workshops, theatre, exhibitions, sports activities and events for the whole family fill the town's streets with life.

Wednesday, April 23

  • 7:00 pm Awards ceremony for the 18th Puig de Missa Poetry Competition. Teatro España.

 

Saturday, April 26

  • 10:00 am to 8:00 pm Book Day with book and flower sales, children's workshops, storytelling and book signings with local authors. Passeig de s'Alamera.

 

Tuesday, April 29

  • 6:00 pm Opening of the handicraft exhibition by the Cultural Association Dones de Santa Eulària. Exhibition Hall Sant Jaume 72.

  • 6:30 pm Presentation of the children's book Grandma Lola Doesn't Remember Me Anymore? by Rosa Rodríguez. Municipal Library.

 

Friday, May 2

  • 8:00 pm Institutional ceremony for the presentation of the Gold Medal and the Xarc Awards. Teatro España.

  • 9:00 am to 3:00 pm Spearfishing. 4th Festes de Maig Trophy – Juan Antonio Marí Overcoming Merit Award. Weigh-in from 5:00 pm. Passeig Marítim – Joan Tur Tur Street.

  • 10:00 am Informa’t a fons. Exhibition of the 14th edition of the travelling library by the Fons Pitiús de Cooperació (until 30 May). Municipal Library.

  • 4:30 pm to 8:00 pm Opening of the flower and plant exhibition. Teatro España.

  • 5:00 pm Pilgrimage to Creu d’en Ribes. Departure from Plaça d’Espanya.

Cultural Heritage Festival

  • 10:15 am Transfer of the image of the Virgin of the Rosary from the Lourdes chapel to the Puig de Missa church, accompanied by the Esencia Musical Group.

  • 11:00 am to 7:00 pm 17th Custom Car Exhibition with sound systems and performances. Next to the municipal sports centre.

  • 11:00 am Solemn mass sung by the Parish Choir, followed by ball pagès by Es Broll. Puig de Missa.

  • 12:00 pm Parade of carts, horses, Ibizan hounds, classic cars and motorbikes. Streets of Santa Eulària.
